In addition to the information below, it is also always useful to Our blog And our Frequently asked questions By reading. Op www.solza.nl You will find a lot of information about floors and your specific situation.

Delivery .

  • We always aim to deliver at least 1 week before the work starts. This so that the products can properly acclimatize and so that any transport damage can still be repaired before the start of the work.

  • Delivered products must be immediately checked upon receipt for completeness, imperfections and/or any transport damage. If we only find out during the work that something is missing or damaged, it may be that this will result in a costly delay.

  • Delivery is carried out by the supplier, a transport company engaged by the supplier or by a transport company called in by Solza.nl.

  • Together with our partners, we always strive to provide the customer with track and trace information with more information about the specific delivery moment.

  • In principle, delivery will take place up to the first threshold. On the ground floor this will in many cases be up to the front door. At apartment complexes this will be at the main entrance. Under no circumstances is the driver obliged to move the items inside. If this is the case, any damage cannot be recovered from Solza.nl.

  • Make sure that the floorboards are neatly ready for our upholsterers, so they can get started with your floor right away. However, make sure that you place the items in a convenient place. For example, when these are on the floor that has to be leveled, they get in the way and this can cause unnecessary delay.

  • Have you ordered a herringbone floor and are you going to stack the floorboards yourself from the pallet? Then pay attention to keeping the Left and Right parts separate. This is often the case with, for example, herringbone laminate floors, this is not the case with PVC. These are separated from each other on the pallet by slats, are supplied on separate pallets or are separated from each other by means of the packaging. In this way, the upholsterers can immediately start processing the floor boards upon arrival at the location.

Underground .

  • When a glued or floating floor is going to be installed, the bottom floor (screed) must be completely flat and even. By plane is meant that there may only be a maximum height difference of 2mm-over a length of 2 meters.

  • Undersurfaces on which you can glue are a. o. Sand cement and anhydrite. On the basis of the type of substrate, it is determined which egaline and accompanying articles are necessary for placing the floor. Make sure that Solza.nl is always aware of which surface you have in your home or office.

  • For laying a floating floor, there must be a hard surface/screed (for example wood, concrete, sand cement, anhydrite, egaline, flagstones, etc.). For anhydrite floors and tiles in combination with equalization, this often involves additional costs.

  • Unevenities of up to 2mm can be collected using a suitable subfloor or by leveling the subsoil.

  • Substrates must be completely closed. Is this not the case? Then we can seal these holes with sealant. However, this does not give a 100% guarantee on sealing the holes.

  • Leveling ensures that a surface is flat and even so that a floor can be placed on it (floating) and a slab of PVC floor can be glued on it. In no case does leveling guarantee a floor that is level. This price will apply per upholsterer available per day and will be applied to the final bill. The costs for this amount to at least € 150 per day per upholsterer available.

  • We advise our customers not to plan other activities too tightly around our activities. After all, the floor must be laid by people and they can also be sick. In order to avoid unpleasant delay, we therefore advise to plan widely.

The consequences of failure of our upholsterers, for whatever reason, can in no case be recovered from Solza B.V..
