1. Laminaatvloeren
Laminate is easy to lay, affordable and often has beautiful prints that come close to wood. Laminate does make a relatively large amount of noise when you walk over it. To reduce this, we recommend a PU rubber subfloor! Brands such as Floer, for example, offer special subfloors for this so that the walking noise is significantly reduced. Also very suitable for use with underfloor heating and more scratch resistant than, for example, the well-known PVC floors. Also available in extra wide Country house format or, for example, in a beautiful herringbone or whalebone motif.
Which brands offer laminate flooring?
At Solza.nl we have a nice number of brands of laminate flooring of the highest possible quality. After all, a floor must last for a while. Within the range of Solza.nl you will find laminate floors suitable for the living room, but also for the garage, the office or for the bedroom. We are an official dealer of the following brands;
- Floer laminaatvloeren
- Hoomline laminaatvloeren
- Douwes Dekker laminate flooring
- Floorlife laminaatvloeren
2. Paste PVC floors (dryback PVC)
Adhesive PVC floors, also known as Dryback PVC, are generally more durable than click PVC floors. PVC is very suitable for underfloor heating, runs very pleasantly and lasts a long time. The disadvantage is that the laying really has to be done by experienced floor layers. The actions required for this are generally best performed by people who do this regularly. For example, for a slab of PVC floor, in most cases it is necessary to level the substrate. For sticking a slab of PVC floor, it is necessary that the surface is free of unevenness or height differences. In addition to many (oak) wood-look prints, this type of flooring is also available in tile format in concrete look for, for example, in the kitchen, garage or bathroom, but also for companies, hall or office.
Which brands offer PVC flooring?
At Solza.nl we are specialized in supplying and laying adhesive PVC floors. As a result, we only work with A-brand floors. In the assortment of Solza.nl you will find (among other things) floors of the following brands;
- Floer PVC flooring
- Belakos PVC flooring
- Vivafloors PVC flooring
- Hoomline PVC flooring
- Sense PVC flooring
- Douwes Dekker PVC flooring
- Floorlife PVC flooring
- vtwonen PVC flooring
3. Click PVC flooring (click PVC)
Click PVC floors, also known as click PVC, are just as easy to install yourself than the PVC floors discussed earlier and are therefore, for example, more suitable for a bedroom or temporary floor than the glueable variants. Click PVC floors are very durable, offer fine foot comfort, are maintenance-friendly and offer very good conductivity for underfloor heating. Many click PVC floors contain special materials that make the floorboards sturdier. This also makes them difficult to cut. So always make sure, when you start working with this yourself, that you have high-quality saws.
What types of Click PVC do you offer?
Just as with the aforementioned laminate floors and adhesive PVC floors, there are also specific brands for click PVC that specialize in this. We like to work with these high-quality brands and after a selection we add a brand to our range. This way our customers are sure that they are buying a floor of the highest possible quality. For example, a brand that stands out in terms of quality within our range is Floorify. At Solza.nl we also have a large selection of types of click PVC floors. The click PVC types that you will find in our range include;
4. Parquet flooring
These are wooden floors crosswise glued to a plate. This also makes it suitable as underfloor heating. A real (oak) wooden floor is of course beautiful in terms of look and feel, but it requires more maintenance and is less suitable for underfloor heating than, for example, PVC or ceramic floor tiles. Also take into account a stable humidity and temperature. Wood (for example oak or ash) gives a warm atmosphere to, for example, new-build homes, which often have little atmosphere of their own. View our range of wooden floors here.
5. Solid wood floors
This is still used in old farms, often they are spruce planks of approximately 19 cm wide. Very sensitive to shrinkage and expansion, not suitable for underfloor heating. Less and less frequently used. Massie Oak is also often used here, a little less sensitive to operation and not suitable for underfloor heating, but will last a lifetime because it can be sanded almost infinitely often.
6. Ceramic floor tiles
Very suitable for underfloor heating, very durable, colorfast, scratch-resistant and colorfast. Ceramics are made of baked clay heated to about 1000 degrees. Also available in wood look designs, concrete look colors and anthracite black tones. In addition to straight strips, also in herringbone motif possible. Suitable for living room, canteen, bathroom, toilet or bedroom. Ceramic floor tiles are used in modern villas and business premises. Very easy to maintain, easy to mop. Take into account a thickness of at least 1 cm. Are often produced in European countries such as Spain and Italy. Available in both square and rectangular format.
7. Hybrid Wood Flooring
Hybrid wood flooring the next big thing in wood parquet flooring. They are the first type of wooden floors that are very suitable for underfloor heating. In addition, these wooden floors are very strong due to the special woodpowder technology and unique finishing lacquer. This makes the floors low-operation, water-resistant for approx. 24 hours and very scratch-resistant. All the advantages of Parquet, Laminate & PVC in one! Also low maintenance.
8. Marmoleum / Linoleum flooring
Linoleum resembles a kind of side, but is much higher quality. It is made from natural materials such as flaxseed, jute, cork flour and resin. Affordable, wear-resistant and vandal-proof. Also suitable for a hobby room. For large surfaces, welds. Available in various prints. Many use in offices, in cellars and halls. Easy to maintain. Marmoleum, by the way, is the most famous brand Linoleum.
9. Vinyl flooring
Similar to Linoleum, but made of plastic PVC parts (Polyvinyl chloride). It is a relatively inexpensive material to make a floor from. Available in various prints. Here, too, you get welds for large surfaces. Easy to maintain. Less durable than parquet, laminate, PVC or ceramic floors.
10. Gietvloeren
A cast floor is poured, it is available with sweeps or very tight in one color white or gray. Your home should be very dry. This is sometimes a problem with a new-build house. A cast floor is tight and a bit chilly. Wooden furniture stands out nicely with a cast floor. Please note that a cast floor is sensitive to scratches, dirt is clearly visible on these floors and can discolour due to UV light.
11. Betonvloeren
Concrete floor is a bit rougher than a cast floor, it is often used in barn houses and at companies that go for a floor with an industrial look. Provide a coating so that dirt does not enter your concrete floor. Nice in combination with rugs and / or wooden walls and wooden furniture.
12. Base concrete floors
A mix of a concrete floor and cast floor. Can be deposited plinthless. Beautiful in combination with CLT wooden walls.
13. Carpet flooring
Carpet feels warm on the feet and is pleasant in terms of acoustics, useful in meeting rooms. Also available in the form of temporary carpet tiles. Less of this time. Available in low pile and high pile variants. Low-pile carpet is easier to suck dust. Not suitable for allergy sufferers.
14. Natural stone floor tiles
Each party is different in terms of color, which is a big disadvantage. Risk of damage greater than with Ceramics. Often not very dimensionally stable and therefore difficult to lay. For example, a Brazilian slate floor or marble floor is of course beautiful in terms of looks.
15. Cementtegels
Often used for toilet floors in beautiful patterns. Is not fired hot as with ceramics, but pressed. Sometimes handmade and therefore not dimensionally stable, but a unique look. Mostly from Portugal and Morocco. More fragile than Ceramics. Often also needs to be impregnated after laying. Also available as wall tile.
16. Kurkvloeren
For the enthusiast, fragile kind of cork floor. Cork floors usually come from our own Europe (Portugal).
17. Bamboevloeren
Bamboo floors look somewhat crowded because of all the bamboo stalks that are often still visible. Contains a lot of glue. High footprint in terms of transport, originating from China.
18. Terracotta tiled floor
These are typical red floors that you often see in southern European countries. These are vulnerable to liquid dirt. Such terracotta tiles are also suitable for the garden.
19. Epoxyvloeren
Epoxy floors are actually a kind of coatings for over your cast floor. Widely used in modern homes.
20. Betontegels
An inexpensive way of tiling is with concrete tiles. Often used in toilets and canteens of business premises. Can also be used in bathrooms or toilets. Provide a coating layer so that dirt does not get into your tiles. Considerably cheaper than ceramic floor tiles and natural stone.
Business Floors
View our special page with business floors with special floors for canteens, showrooms and offices. After all, a floor for a company is not just a floor. This must meet specific requirements and wishes. For example, you want to match the quality and scratch resistance of the floor to the type and amount of audience that will walk over the floor.
